COPA 181 is the first feature film by Brazilian director Dannon Lacerda. It is a 100% independent production that deals with the relationship of a couple that is affected by the events in a gay sauna. Awarded in several festivals in Brazil and in other countries, the director had the premiere of his film at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival in October 2017.
UFC 181: Hendricks vs. Lawler II was a mixed martial arts event held on December 6, 2014 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event will feature Brandon Girtz against Derek Campos in a rubber match. Campos won the pair's initial meeting in June 2013 at Bellator 96 by unanimous decision. Girtz avenged the loss in November 2015 at Bellator 146, where he won by knockout in the first round.

1818 is an upcoming Indian Tamil thriller film directed by Rithun Sagar. Inspired by the events of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the film features Trisha in the lead role, with Brahmanandam and Rajendra Prasad in supporting roles. The venture began production in May 2015, though Trisha's addition in 2017 prompted reworking of the script.

This joint French and Russian film sparked major excitement in Moscow at its premier screening and continues to entertain audiences throughout the world today. The 32-minute silent film was the point of origin for some of the more advanced camera techniques used today. Sirotin of the Voice of Russia said that, “The film is interesting to spectators even today and is frequently shown both in Russia and abroad.”

On 22nd July 1812 Wellington's Anglo-Portuguese Army with their Spanish allies won a momentous victory over the French commanded by Marmont at Salamanca. This battle was the culmination of 3 years careful preparation by Wellington to ensure that he met the French field army in a place of his choosing with strong enough forces to win.To achieve success in this campaign of 1812 involved not just Wellington's field army but coordinated movements by the allies throughout the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean. However once battle was joined it was the courage, training and fighting ability of the British Redcoat that won the day. This battle could have been an even greater victory if Wellington's Spanish Allies had obeyed orders. As a result of this victory the French withdrew from Southern Spain and Wellington was now in a position to slowly but surely drive them out of Spain completely and invade France in 1814.
